About Professor Feargal Cochrane

I am Professor Emeritus and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Kent. I was born and educated in Belfast before moving to England in 1998. I have published 12 books and numerous academic papers in the broad area of conflict transformation and peacebuilding, with a particular focus on violent political conflict and peace processes. My last book 'Northern Ireland: The Fragile Peace', was published by Yale University Press in 2021.
