About Orkney Riddler

I am Jeffery Nicholls, Retired and living in Orkney, sometimes artist. Draughtsman and archaeologist. Worked at Grimes Graves for two seasons in the 70s, directed excavation of a Dorset Barrow, worked for English Heritage for 8 years. Born in England, links with Orkney since 1980, nothing to do with archaeology. Moved here in 2019. Researching Neolithic Orkney, and the voyage of the Orkney Vole, from mainland Europe to Orkney.
